The catalyst for these photographic musings is the primal, transformative forces that has captivated humankind since Prometheus absconded with fire from the gods.

Flickering, dancing - fire transforms all it touches, both destructive and regenerative. Through fire we are warmed, fed, and illuminated against the darkness, it is the light that leads the way on life's uncertain paths. But fire can be all consuming, it is in reference to fire that we describe our creativity, passions, and loves.

It is alive, primal, and untamable except for briefs moments in our control, yet it disappears in wisps of smoke, its ashes carried away by the wind, both ephemeral and ethereal. Through these photographs, we attempt to spark new perspectives in hopes of transforming how we see the nature of change around this timeless, eternal force.
